Any volunteer whose ministry brings them into contact with children and youth is required to attend a three-hour Protecting God’s Children (VIRTUS) training session.
Youths ages 16 through 18 may attend with parental permission. This training is free and the certification is valid for five years.
If you anticipate any volunteer work in our parish where you will have contact with children, you will need to take this class. If you have any questions, contact Terri Panuccio at the parish office (315-732-1482) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday if you have any questions.
