Here are some images from the 8:30 a.m. Mass on Ash Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
On Thursday, June 22, the Burmese bishop and three fellow priests were visiting our area. They stayed in our rectory and spent time with our Burmese parishioners, with whom they celebrated Mass at Mount Carmel / Blessed Sacrament in their native language. The priests from Myanmar are Bishop John Saw Yaw Han, the Rev. Albert Saw, the Rev. Paulus Clo Htoo and the Rev. Conrad Moe Kyaw Htoo.
The 4 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve was a special service for families of the parish as children and adults celebrated the birth of Jesus with a children's pageant. These photos are courtesy of Marc Delmonico.
About 240 people attended the annual Communion Breakfast Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, after the 10:30 a.m. Mass at Daniele’s Banquet Facility on Seneca Turnpike in New Hartford. The guest speaker was David Barosci, who spoke about “The Joy-filled Voice of Mary.” The menu consisted of scrambled eggs, hats and broccoli, baked Virginia ham, roasted potatoes, Belgian waffles with strawberries and cream, chicken bianco, mini bagels with cream cheese, fresh fruit salad, juices, coffee and tea.
Bishop Robert Cunningham of the Diocese of Syracuse confirmed the Class of 2017 Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Mount Carmel / Blessed Sacrament. Family and friends gathered to congratulate these young people on the next step of their faith journey. These photos are courtesy of Terri Panuccio.

Many of the couples planning to receive the Sacrament of Marriage at Mount Carmel / Blessed Sacrament gathered Sunday, Feb. 26. They attended the 10:30 a.m. Mass and then met in the Salerno Room for a day-long retreat to discuss marriage and relationships.
On Sunday mornings beginning at 9:15, elementary school children from our parish gather for Faith Formation classes. They are taught by several volunteers who help them to understand and grow in their faith.
The annual Mount Carmel / Blessed Sacrament Parish Festival took place July 14-16, 2017.
The annual procession in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel took place Sunday, July 16, 2017, on the morning of the final day of the festival.
On Saturday March 25, 2017, children in our parish who are preparing for their First Communion attended a morning workshop with their parents. The morning began with breakfast and a reading from the gospel of St. Luke about The Road to Emmaus. (Luke 24:13-35). It was in the BREAKING OF THE BREAD that the apostles realized Jesus was among them after rising from the dead. Under partly sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s, the fifth annual Parish Golf Tournament teed off on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, at Stonebridge Golf and Country Club.

Father Jim thanked all the volunteers of the parish for their unselfish work on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, with a chicken barbecue. More than 200 people enjoyed chicken, barbecued pork, salt potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw, desserts and more.
