The 2026 Italian Festival concluded Sunday once again under blue skies and comfortable conditions.
Saturday’s inclement weather reduced attendance after the festival opened on Friday, July 17, under beautiful sunny blue skies and warm temperatures.
Sunday drew a nice crowd as people enjoyed a variety of food, pizza fritta and a spaghetti luncheon.
The 11 a.m. Mass honored Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and the traditional procession around the church grounds to the Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel drew many people. Father Jim offered benediction at the shrine.
