Former parishioner Dr. John D. DeCotis, retired Fayette County Schools Superintendent, recently had his second faith-based book, “Believe It,” published by Christian Faith Publishing.
After teaching religious education for many years, he encountered confusion and questions concerning the teaching and practice of faith. This book explores many questions that people may have about their faith. DeCotis said through examining our beliefs as Christians and exploring Christian beliefs from a variety of sources and perspectives, many answers are given that may help the reader to better understand their own faith and appreciate how it relates to the overall Christian church.
To seek faith is a journey, to grasp and attain faith is a gift and blessing, he said. This book will assist the reader in achieving peace and comfort. All proceeds will go to charity as with the first book, “What Is Important? What Is Important!”
