“Theology Uncorked” — a gathering of conversation for the believers, curious and the skeptics — welcomes the Rev. Jim Cesta on Thursday, May 21.
Father Jim will speak about “The Treasure of Priests” from 6:15 to 8 p.m. at Hart’s Hill Inn in Whitesboro.
The event, sponsored by the Good News Foundation, offers free talk, food and wine. The first glass is on the house.
With the shortage of priests and the growing number of Catholics, priests are to be deeply cherished. And in turn, the people they serve are their greatest treasure.
Father Jim was ordained in 1974 and served in five parishes throughout his ministry. Over the years, he has been deeply involved in liturgical life, with a particular interest in the design and renovation of church spaces, helping to create environments that foster prayer and worship.
