A parishioner recently reported an email scam. This person said an email purportedly from Father Jim asked for contributions of gift cards to give to the staff. It was not an email from Father Jim. The Syracuse diocese warns everyone that the diocese nor its parishes solicit in this manner. So, please be wary.
