This year marks the 50th anniversary of Mount Carmel’s choir under the direction of Peter Elacqua.
Our current Music Ministry began in 1976 with what then was called the Folk Group, sitting in the sanctuary playing guitars and other instruments and singing hymns.
We are planning to honor this anniversary in the spring issue of “More Good News,” and we need your help. We’re looking for reflections and memories of that time 50 years ago.
