FIRST RECONCILIATION 2020

On Sunday, Feb. 2, 21 children celebrated God’s gift of forgiveness in the Sacrament of First Reconciliation. They processed in carrying an unlit candle, signifying that when we sin, Jesus’ light goes out. After they went to confession, they came into the sanctuary with their parents to light their candle signifying the light of Jesus being restored through the confession of our sins, and each received a little lamb reminding them they are God’s Little Lambs. A luncheon took place after to celebrate. Thank you to the Rev. Tom Servatius, pastor of Historic Old St. John’s for helping Father Jim. Photos courtesy of Terri Panuccio.
