The Resurrection of Our Lord was celebrated in joyful style during the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 4. The evening began in the dark with the lighting of the Paschal Candle and the procession around the church, where parishioners held their lit candles illuminating the building. Old Testament readings highlighted, among others, the creation story, Abraham and Isaac and the Exodus story in song. Four individuals were welcomed fully into the Catholic faith. People blessed themselves with Holy Water and received the body and blood of Christ in the Holy Eucharist. A truly inspirational evening.
