The Diocese of Syracuse’s Jail Ministry has been overwhelmed with requests for socks lately, getting as many as 30 to 40 requests per week. Its supply of socks almost is depleted.
We’re asking our parishioners during Lent to please purchase new CREW socks (not ankle). They must be WHITE (no stripes). They can have a small logo, and the toe can be gray or another color. Please try to get the plainest white socks you can. Please donate only MEN’S socks; the women prefer men’s socks.
