The Hope Appeal has been underway for a few months, but we’re still more than $20,000 behind our assessment.
About 74 households have contributed more than $11,000 toward our goal of $31,173. We have approximately 750 households in our parish. Hopefully, many more families and individuals can contribute.
The Hope Appeal is the annual giving campaign of the Diocese of Syracuse. Every year, the programs and services supported by the Hope Appeal touch countless lives in every city, town and rural area in our diocese.
Our parish is part of the diocese and has a responsibility to help those in need as a major tenet of our faith. The diocese has mailed information to registered parishioners and forms are available in church.
When the goal of the Hope Appeal is achieved, we ensure that these programs will receive the funding that is needed.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse includes 196,897 Catholics in 116 parishes residing in seven counties of central and south-central New York. The seven counties are Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego.
