Queen-size quilt raffle to benefit Abraham House

Marie Bova has graciously made and donated a queen-size quilt to our Social Ministry to be raffled off. Proceeds benefit Abraham House.

Marie donated a quilt in 2014 that also was raffled to benefit Abraham House and raised a substantial amount.

The Social Ministry will be selling the raffle tickets at the parish office and after all Masses starting Dec. 8.

Tickets are $5 each, The drawing will take place Jan. 4 at the Epiphany Celebration at Twin Ponds Golf & Country Club. The quilt will be on display during our Sunday Masses.

Social Ministry outreach

So far this holiday season the parish Social Ministry has distributed:

  • $100 to the Rescue Mission.
  • $100 to the Veterans Outreach Center.
  • $50 to Father Luis for his Thanksgiving basket program.
  • $25 to the Mount Carmel Society for their Thanksgiving dinner program.
  • $25 to Carm Guanieri for her Monday night dinner program at the Drop-In Center of the Rescue Mission.
  • $200 for The House of the Good Shepherd.

Thanks for bake sale, craft fair

A huge thank you to everyone who baked and  helped with the recent bake sale. Another thank you to the crafters for their beautiful displays and wares. A special thank you to Jackie Thibault for organizing the craft fair.
