Easter donations: Father says they’re ‘critical’

The coronavirus pandemic has affected all walks of life around the world, in our country and in our own parish.

With churches, including ours, being shuttered for an undetermined amount of time, parishes still have to pay their expenses and maintain their facilities.

Father Jim said during this time, our weekly and Easter donations are “critical” to the survival of the parish. He would like to thank everyone who has mailed in their donations. He said with continued financial support, when the parish reopens we will be able to be in great shape to continue our pastoral mission.

Father Jim asks parishioners, if they can, to save two or three weeks worth of donation envelopes, place them in an envelope and mail them to Mount Carmel / Blessed Sacrament, 648 Jay St., Utica, NY 13501. Or, you can drop them off in the mail slot of the rectory.

One other option is to donate online. You can do that by scrolling to the bottom of this page and clicking the “DONATE” button.

Father Jim thanks you for your continued support and generosity.
