Meet some of our graduates

We are highlighting some our parishioners who recently graduated from high school or college. The following information has been provided by their families. 

Keaton Kukowski is the son of Stephen and  Sharon Kukowski. He graduated from Notre Dame Junior-Senior High School with high honors and was a member of the National Honor Society. He received a varsity letter in cross-country and received awards for religion from the Knights of Columbus, the Lillie Y. Cooper Memorial Prize and St. Michael’s College Book Award. He also received a Regents diploma. He will attend Mohawk Valley Community College and study graphic design and animation.

Shaelin Siniscarco graduated from New Hartford Senior High School with high honors. She received a Regents diploma and was a member of the National Honor Society. She received the Julia Rahill Memorial Award for Nursing. She plans to attend Utica College majoring in nursing and also will be a member of its soccer team.

Bethany Rose Geary is the daughter of Stephen and Patti Geary. She graduated from Whitesboro High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society and plans to attend the University of Albany, majoring in emergency preparedness, homeland security and cybersecurity.

Vinessa Chapman graduated from New Hartford Senior High School. She received the Donna Jordan Memorial Scholarship. Vinessa plans to attend SUNY Polytechnic Institute with a career in health care. She is the daughter of Vincent and Gina Chapman

Emily Surace plans to attend the University of Albany to major in biology. Emily is the daughter of Steven and Gina Surace. She graduated from Whitesboro High School.

Nicholas Commisso is the son of Dominick & Michelle Commisso. He graduated from Oriskany Junior-Senior High School. He received the Triple C Award, Oriskany Teachers Assocication Award, the Unsung Hero Scholarship, the Principal’s Award, The Keith & Virginia Davis Memorial Scholarship, the Derek “Deek” Thaler Memorial Scholarship, the Student Council Leadership Award, and the OCS Sports Booster Award. He will be attending SUNY Cortland and majoring in physical education.

Matthew Elacqua graduated from Notre Dame Junior-Senior High School. He was a top 10 student, received the Most Outstanding Senior Boy award, was a Section 3 Scholar Athlete (three sports for four years) and the Claudine Gall Memorial Award. He plans to attend Holy Cross College. He will be studying environmental science and computer science. He is the son of Vincent and Lois Elacqua.

Maria Commisso recently graduated from Ithaca College (cum laude) with a B.S. in clinical health studies. She is continuing her education at Ithaca pursuing her doctorate in physical therapy. Maria is the daughter of Dominick & Michelle Commisso.

Maria Panuccio is the daughter of Nick and Terri Panuccio. She graduated from SUNY Cortland with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and childhood education (magna cum laude).
